Despite their name Louisiana Iris originate from several southern states in USA

They flower in a wide range of colours with several flowers per stem over a period of weeks.Unfortunately in colder areas  Louisianas do not always flower and some do not survive very severe frosts

They prefer moist ,humus rich soil in sun if to flower well
